It starts with me
We are fortunate to have a Geriatrics Institute at the University of Sherbrooke. It means not only that there are people in training here, but that there is also research.
With the aim of promoting research, as desired by the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS, the CHUS Research Center (CRCHUS), the Research Centre on Aging (CDRV) and the Frontline University Institute in Health and social services (IUPLSSS) support the “It starts with me” awareness campaign. This initiative aims to inform the population of the benefits of research, by promoting communication between patients and research professionals.
“Most of the treatments available in Canada today are available because of people like you who have volunteered to participate in a clinical trial.”
Did you know that:
- The CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS offers more than 1,000 active clinical research projects, including more than a hundred at the CRDV.
- To register in the participant bank, just send us a message via our contact page. The website will allow you to find out about the clinical research projects offered at the CDRV.
